Celebrating Outdoors | Aug 2021
I am so thrilled to host my first home gallery showcase Aug. 20, 21, 22. called “Celebrating Outdoors”. With Covid and the shutdown of so many art events and galleries over the last 18 months, myself and so many artists have had a tough time getting our work seen. Now with the restrictions lessening I thought let us get together, outside, and safely with an art show and sale. I’ve been working hard over the last year, coming up with new ideas, new works, and what I’m most happy about about is something I have wanted to do for years, so with lots of research, prototypes, it’s here…. year round, outdoor art! Yes; my limited edition prints, printed on metal and top coated with a high gloss resin coating, and they look FANTASTIC!
UPDATE: What a fantastic show!!!! A good showing, little rain, and yahoo sales. Thank-you so much for the wonderful feed back, on my yard, home set-up, and the “test gallery”. YES! You asked for it, I am renovating my oversized garage into a full time gallery space.
A special big thank-you to my friend and amazing artist Memory Roth, who helped show collectors around, take photos and was a sales person extraordinaire.

Federation of Canadian Artists | Edmonton Chapter | Feb 2021
I am again thrilled to say I won 1st. place in the juried exhibition for the Edmonton Chapter of Federation of Canadian Artists “2021 Spring Exhibition”. Another from the currency series “Pocket Change” | 32×60″ | acrylic on canvas. here is what I wrote about this piece: “A penny for your thoughts” can’t be said anymore, for the new generation hasn’t even spent one to get any penny candy. With Canada minting our own coins from 1908 to present at the Royal Canadian Mint, our coins has as much history as Canada itself. By painting and documenting a few of these iconic coins, I can showcase a little of what we use to call “Pocket Change”. Also juried into this exhibition is “Hidden Treasure”, and “Hot Ride”. The originals and prints are available. View and read more about the show in the link below.
